On May 13, 2026...Future Educator Awarded Scholarship

The Story Continues: The Cortney Nowak Literacy Foundation proudly presented a scholarship to 2026 DeWitt High School graduating senior Emma Smith. This represented the second year the Foundation has recognized a DeWitt graduate with a scholarship. Emma was chosen based on her submitted application and essay. Emma was previously a student in Cortney's first grade classroom. The scholarship was presented at the DeWitt High School Senior Awards Night by Foundation Board President Emily Palmatier and Board Treasurer Jim Nowak.
